By using Ascent (CAPM® Exam Prep) — whether through the iOS app or the web app — you agree to these terms.

Use of the app

Ascent is a study-aid tool. It does not guarantee any specific exam outcome. PMI, CAPM, and PMBOK are trademarks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. Ascent is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by PMI.

Ascent Pass (in-app purchase)

Ascent Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks the full question bank and all features. There is no subscription, and the purchase is permanent. It is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored after a reinstall using Restore Purchases.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the question bank or any content within the app. You may not attempt to circumvent the paywall or manipulate leaderboard scores.

Content accuracy

We make every effort to keep question content accurate and aligned with PMI's current exam content outline. If you find an error, please report it at support@zachshallbetter.com — corrections are shipped regularly.

Limitation of liability

Ascent is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zach Shallbetter shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including failure to pass an exam.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
